I am a Faux Finisher and Muralist...

...serving New York State and New England and am based in Albany County. I have been painting and texturing professionally for over four years, and I have always been involved in creative processes. I love my work. While I have always had one foot (and always, my heart) in art, my background is rounded out with experience in marketing, advertising, editing, and writing.

I work alone and do not have a crew. The advantage to my clients is they receive my quality work, not that of an apprentice or assistant. There is less mess; less confusion. No middleman. Just one woman working quietly and conscientiously in your home at your convenience. Additionally, I can pass on the savings of working alone to you.

I don't use texture machines although I do know how to use them. Anyone who has worked around them knows they are large, loud and messy. I apply all my textures by hand. It may take a bit more time, but the results are splendid. And the entire process is less distressful to my customers. It is also worth noting that I do not spray paint. Again, it is all applied by hand via brush, roller, knife, rag, sponge. The advantage again is greater control, less mess and noise, and a more custom finish.
